Kit is the daughter of a communications professor and a film biographer.
She wroter her first novel at fourteen and has a deep love of stories in all forms. She holds a B.A. in Theatrical Linguistics
from Indiana University (a combined degree in theater and linguistics) and is a certified intuitive healer through the Stillpoint
Institute. She believes in writing as a form of healing and a source of joy for both the author and the reader.
She has studied writing at Indiana University, Duke University, and the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky.
Currently, she is a student of the Cincinatti Feminist Leadership Academy. Her short story, Curses, won third
place in the Women Who Write prose competition last year. She has also won awards in fiction and non-fiction
from Indiana University and the Kentucky Writers' Coalition.
She also works as an intuitive healer and healing coach and is available
for private consultations upon request.
